Why God Allows pain...

This is one of the best explanations of why God
allows pain and suffering that I have seen

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually
touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists." "Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to
go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither
suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with
long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop
again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a
barber. And I just worked on you!" "No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers
don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair
and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to
me." "Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES
exist! That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to
Him for help. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Rachel's Experience....BEWARE! BE AWARE!

It was Monday around 7:30AM. I rode a "Pasig-Quiapo" jeep. Just before we reach Altura there were only five people left in the jeep: me, the nursing student at my right, the high school student sitting in front of the nursing student, and a boy-gay who happens to be at the far most side of the jeepney. After a while, two men rode. Since I like observing people, I immediately notice the crippling man who has a huge scar in his lower arm and some weird marks behind his eye. The two passengers sat beside the high school student. There was nothing special except that they were too close to each other! Imagine, only seven passengers in the jeepney and there’s this two men sitting very close to each other. What would you think? Well, I thought they were gays. So, I felt like it was interesting to watch them.

After a while, they handed their fare and since they are very far from the driver they move closer. Now, they are sitting beside the gay-boy. Let’s review the sitting arrangement: corner, Gay-boy, Man1, Mr. Scar, three gays sitting side by side. Ok, back to the story. Man1 handed exact fare, Mr. Scar, on the other hand, handed P20. At that time I was thinking that I was wrong and they don’t know each other and they are not gays. So, I stopped observing them.

Ewan ko kung anong masamang hangin ang nagpalingon sa mukha ko pero saktong-sakto ang pagkakatingin ko. Man1 handed a cellphone to Mr. Scar. And it wasn’t an ordinary giving of cellphone. It was a suspicious cellphone-giving. It was “tagong-tago.” During that time, I was really puzzled and confused. Oh yeah! I forgot to mention, when I saw the act of “cellphone-giving” Mr. Scar and I looked at each other. And it was the scariest 30 seconds of my life. I kept playing the scenes over and over. Questions were starting to build up. “Do they know each other?” “What’s up with the cellphone?” “Why does Mr. Scar acts like he’s texting whenever I look at him?” “Now what?” There were plenty of questions. I just wanted to raise my arm and shout, “Ui! Gay-boy, check mo nga baka ninakawan ka ng cellphone!” But I was scared and confused. I chicken out and decided to get out of the jeepney and find help. But there were no police officers in the place. I rode another jeepney, feeling guilty and unsafe.

Don't give up.....

Don't give up.....

One day I decided to quit...
I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk

with God.
"God", I asked, "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"

His answer surprised me...

"Look around", He said.
"Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them.

I gave them light.
 I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth.

Its brilliant green covered the floor.

Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.

But I did not quit on the bamboo."

"In the second year, the

fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo," He said.

"In year three, there was still nothing

from the bamboo seed.
But I would not quit."

"In year four, again, there was nothing

from the bamboo seed.
I would not quit." He said.

"Then in the fifth year,

a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared to the fern it was seemingly
small and insignificant..."

"But just 6 months later
the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots.

Those roots made it strong and gave it
what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations
a challenge it could not handle."
He asked me. "Did you know, my child,

that all this time you have been struggling,
you have actually been growing roots?
I would not quit on the bamboo.
I will never quit on you.
Don't compare yourself to others,"

He said.
"The bamboo had a different purpose

from the fern.
Yet they both make the forest  beautiful.

"Your time will come", God said to me
"you will rise high"

"How high should I rise?"
 I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?"

He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned.

"Yes." He said,
"Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest and brought back this story.
I hope these words can help you see that

God will never give up on you.

Never, never, never give up!
For the Christian Prayer is not an

option but an opportunity.

Don't tell the Lord

how big the problem is,
tell the problem how Great the Lord is!

Heaven's door opened and God asked me... "My CHILD...
what can I do for you?" and I said, "Daddy, please protect and bless the one reading this message."
God smiled and answered ...  "request granted ..........."

You'll never know when GOD is going to bless you!! Good things happen when you least expect them to !!!!!!!!

"each of us have our own legend to fulfill --- it doesn't matter if other people support us or criticize us, or ignore us, or put up with us - we are doing it because that is our destiny on this earth, and the fount of all joy."

Never the same

The other day i did something,
i hope i wont regret,
i said goodbye to a friend
who i know i wont forget.
i'll never forget the good times when,
all i did was smile,
i made the most of my days,
and made my life worth while.
and i'll never forget these times because,
i shared them with a friend,
a friend so special, a friend so kind,
one that said she'd be there at the end.
But now things have changed,
and i cant stand it much longer,
many times i thought of giving up,
but then i grew even stronger.
i then figured out, that something wasn't right,
i wasn't happy anymore,
and we were having a few more fights.
Even though we made up ,
it wasn't the same,
we hardly even speak,
she hardly ever calls out my name.
Things started to go wrong,
and people started to see,
that i wasn't all that happy,
and something was wrong with me.
It was something inside,
that i couldn't explain,
which caused even more problems,
and even more pain.
i started to think,
and i knew what was wrong,
i tried so hard to fix it,
i tried for so long.
so this friend that i had,
didn't like me for me,
and i was sick of all the tears,
i just wanted her to see.
that i want things back to normal,
i want to hear her call out my name,
but as much as it kills me to say,
i don't think things will ever be the same.

Alvin & the Chipmunks

Rating:★★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Kids & Family
"Alvin and the Chipmunks" tells the story of three singing chipmunks and their rise to musical fame and fortune. The chipmunks, named Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, with the help of their human friend/manager/songwriter Dave Seville, first achieve success with a Christmas song, a song you have likely heard over a million times, "The Chipmunk Song" (or "Please Christmas Don't Be Late"). But you probably already knew all of that. The Chipmunks have been around for almost fifty years, have "released" several albums, starred in a TV show or two, and have been merchandised out and up the whazoo. The Chipmunks are nothing new. However, that lack of novelty shouldn't stop you from going to see the live action "Alvin and the Chipmunks" because it really is quite good. In fact, it's probably the best "family film" of the year, and I'm serious when I say this, one of the best movies of 2007.

Again, there's nothing particularly "new" here. We do get a bit of an "origin" story, though. When we first meet them, the Chipmunks (voiced by Justin Long, Mathew Gray Gubler, and Jesse McCartney) are living in a tree, packing it with nuts for the winter and singing that "Bad Day" song from "American Idol." Suddenly, their home is cut down and thrown in the back of a truck. The Chipmunks end up hitching a ride with the truck and arrive in the lobby of Jet Records, where their home is the new lobby Christmas tree. It's here that they run into struggling songwriter Dave Seville (Jason Lee), who after being turned down once again by record producer Ian Hawke (David Cross), takes a gift basket with them in it (he doesn't know they're in the basket at the time). Dave takes the Chipmunks home, where they immediately start to cause all kinds of mischief. When Dave finds out what exactly is now in his house, he naturally wants to get rid of them. Who would want talking chipmunks in their house? As Dave says, it's weird. But, despite their trashing his house and helping him lose his paying day job as an ad executive, Dave lets the Chipmunks stay.

And then Dave hits the motherload. He finds out that the talking Chipmunks can sing, too. Using his songwriting skills, Dave creates a song for Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, and after hearing the song, Ian gives the Chipmunks a recording contract. The Chipmunks quickly become the hottest thing in the world and make everyone involved piles of money. The Chipmunks start to see Dave as more than a friend (Theodore is the first to call Dave "Dad"), and they start to become a sort of pseudo family. Dave manages their career and gives them a real home. Being a father, of course, means looking out for the Chipmunks' well being. He doesn't want them to become so awash in fame that they lose their identity.

Ian, being the scumbag record producer that he is (aren't they all?), has other plans. Ian figures that if he can somehow convince the Chipmunks that Dave really doesn't want them around, he can take them into his custody and do whatever he wants with them (constant touring, where the real money in music is made). So, will the Chipmunks fall for Ian's slick scheme and leave their pal Dave? Will Dave be able to keep his new pseudo family in line? Will the Chipmunks be able to handle fame and fortune and still be little kids?

Alvin is the leader of the trio, Simon is the brains, and Theodore is the funny little pudgy guy. Theodore ends up standing out more than the other two, mostly because he's so darn cute you can't help but like him. He's so naive, so bright eyed, he's irresistible. The voice acting is decent enough when you can understand what the Chipmunks are saying (there are moments where the background music is too loud and drowns out the dialogue). And when you can understand them you can hear how each Chipmunk has a distinct voice, which is always a plus when you're dealing with squeaky voiced characters. The Chipmunks are, in a word, great. Fun. A blast to watch.

I Read lots of negative reviews about it but hey!! they are being unreasonable. If you can only analyzed and understand the message of the story it was not only for fun or for kids to watch, it was actually better than watching garfield 2. so guys, I definitely recommended this movie if you like to watch free screening you can check on www.movie6.net. the site kinda bit slow but you can browse thru it if you have a fast internet.

True Love Story

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the apple of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for work so he asked the wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. The mother, preoccupied in the kitchen, totally forgot the matter.
The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle and, fascinated with its color, drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed, the mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband.
When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just four words. What do you think were the four words?
The husband just said "I Love You Darling"
The husband's totally unexpected reaction is proactive behavior. The child is dead.
He can never be brought back to life. There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he have taken time to keep the bottle away, this will not
have happened. No point in attaching blame. She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her.
Sometimes we spend time asking who is responsible or who to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job or with the people we know. We miss out some warmth in human relationship in giving each other support. After all, shouldn't forgiving someone we love be the easiest thing in the world to do? Treasure what you have. Don't multiply pain, anguish and suffering by holding on to forgiveness.
If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world.
sTake off all your envies, jealousies, unwillingness to forgive, selfishness, and fear and you will find things are actually not as difficult as you think.
